Good News Now We Can Eat All The Vampires will be launching their debut album “Everything Is Fine” with a show at Lyric’s Underground on Saturday, October 18 with very special guest Abbe May (solo)!
The brainchild of Paul Francis Wood (Red Jezebel, The Ghost Hotel), who also produced the album at his studio Tiny Music Recordings, the band features other members of the aforementioned acts, along with musicians from some of WA’s most beloved and respected outfits including Schvendes and The Jayco Brothers.
The first taste of the album, single ‘The Miner’, took out the folk category for 2024’s WA Song Of The Year contest with the song also receiving overall runner-up honour. The LP’s second single, ‘The Colour Upstream’, was described as “Big cinematic guitar rock - so lush and bright” by triple j’s Steph Hughes.
On the live front, the seven-piece has played Wave Rock Weekender, Hidden Treasures, Nannup Festival and WAMfest, plus shows alongside Dallas Frasca and The K*ll Devil Hills.
“Everything Is Fine” is out Friday, October 10 on Walking Horse Music (MGM).
